Dogra Law College Organised Induction Ceremony for the students of 1st Semester of both B.A LL.B ( 5 years) and LL.B ( Professional) 3 years courses.
The ceremony commenced with the Lighting of ceremonial lamp by all the dignitaries and evoking the blessing of almighty. The impressive inaugural ceremony was presided over by Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and Chairman of Dogra Educational Trust. Welcome address was given by Dr. Komila Aggarwal, Principal, Dogra Law College and in her welcome note she emphasized upon the prime object of an induction programme that this programme helps the students to appreciate the importance of professionalism and values.
Kr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary (Dogra Educational Trust), shared his views and encouraged the students to work hard and motivated them to achieve their goals in life. In his address he stressed upon the rules and regulations being followed in Dogra Law College and ensured all sort of support from the management of The Dogra Educational Trust for their academic and co-curricular growth.
In his Presidential address, Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman (Dogra Educational Trust) apprised the students about the glorious tradition of Dogra Law College of welcoming the newcomers to this institution of Legal studies and higher learning. He enthusiastically encouraged the students to follow the noble values of discipline in their everyday lives and contribute towards the nation building.
The Dogra Law College announced scholarships amounting Rs. 20,00,000 for 40 meritorious students of 1st Semster of B.A LL.B 5 years course. The class representatives of 1st Semster of both B.A LL.B (5 years) and LL.B 3 years, Professional course were bestowed with CR badges.
The winding up of Programme was done by with a vote of thanks offered by Ms. Gopika Sharma, Lecturer, Dogra Law College. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
