Law day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm in Dogra Law College in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority Samba to mark the adoption of The Constitution of India by the Constituent assembly. The guest of honour on this auspicious ceremony was Ms. Swati Gupta, Sub Judge Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Samba. The ceremony was presided by former Minister and Chairman Dogra Educational Trust, Th. Gulchain Singh Charak.Swati Gupta, Guest of Honour in her address stressed upon the importance of Constitution for the legal system and emphasized on importance of directive principles of state policy and fundamental duties enshrined in the Constitution. She read out the Preamble of the constitution for the students and asked the students to repeat after her.The students of BA LL.B 5YRS Course and LL.B 3YRS (Professional Course) namely Neetika, Mohd Akhyar, Bin Yameen, Abhishek Sharma, Primal, Vinay, Sukhpreet, Vrinda, Prisca, Prakriti put forward their views on the theme “The Constitution Of India; An Enduring Document” and shared their understanding about the Constitution Of India.
