A Sensitization Program on Ageing with Dignity was organised by District Legal Services Authority, Samba in collaboration with Dogra Educational Trust, today at Dogra Law College. Ms.Swati Gupta, secretary DLSA was present during the seminar. she propounded her views on the idea of ageing gracefully and talked about the issues of old age and how they can be dealt with. She said that every stage of life is deserving of dignity but she considered old age as the epitome of wisdom, knowledge and experience as by that age we have learnt a lot in our life that enables us to differentiate between things.But along with these benefits of old age there are also certain problems related to this age like health issues and mental illness.Kr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary Dogra Educational Trust presided over the function. Ms.Bela Thakur, Principal Dogra Dgree College, and Dr.Vikesh Sharma, Principal Dogra College Of Education were present during the function.
