The valedictory function of the seven days NSS Camp was organized by Dogra College of Education in the college auditorium. The programme started with the lighting of the traditional lamp followed by the welcome address by Mrs. Roshy Sharma, NSS Programme Officer and with the prayer of Goddess Saraswati. The chief guest on the occasion was Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and Chairman, Dogra Educational Trust while the guest of honour was Prof. Vishav Raksha, NSS Programme Coordinator, University of Jammu.The aim of the camp was to spread awareness among the rural masses and make them to understand the needs and problems of the community. NSS Pledge was also taken by NSS Volunteers to gain skills in mobilizing community participation and to practice national integration and Social Harmony.Prominent among those present on the occasion were Kr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, secretary, Dogra Educational Trust, Dr. Kamal Padha, Director, Dogra Educational Trust, Prof. V.P Magotra, Principal, Dogra Law college and Mrs. Shefali Sharma, Academic Coordinator, Dogra College of Education. Faculty members and students were also present on the occasion.
