Dogra College of Education Organized symposium under environmental club on the occasion of World Water Day on 22nd of March, 2019. The theme of the symposium was “Leaving no one behind”. The programme was held under the supervision of Mrs. Jyoti Raina, Lecturer in Environmental Science. A pledge was taken by the entire faculty & the students of B.Ed course in order to advocate for the sustainable management of fresh water resources.Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Vikesh Kumar Sharma, Principal, Dogra College of Education addressed that water is a finite, vulnerable and essential resource which should be managed in an integrated manner.20 students of B.Ed Sem-II and IV took part in the event. The judges of the event were Mrs. Shefali Sharma, Academic Coordinator, Mrs. Indu Puri, Sr. Lecturer and Mrs. Jyoti Raina, Lecturer in E.V.S. Ms. Priya Khullar, Ms. Taniya Sharma and Ms. Aditi Jamwal were adjudged respectively.
