Seven days long annual NSS camp was organized by NSS unit of Dogra College of Education at Govt. Girls Middle School, village Dollian, Bari Brahmana, District Samba which began w.e.f 12.03.2019 and concluded on 18.03.2019.
At the end of seven days NSS camp, a function was organized in the Govt. Girls Middle School, Dollian, Bari Brahmana. The function started with the welcome address by Ms. Komal Gupta, NSS volunteer of B.Ed Sem-IV. Mrs. Roshy Sharma, NSS Programme Officer, Dogra College of Education gave a detailed account of manifold activities organized during the camp. Mr. Rakesh Verma, Headmaster, Govt. Girls Middle School, Bari Brahmana in his address stressed upon the need to organize these types of camps and activities to promote social consciousness, a sense of responsibility and discipline among the masses. Mrs. Shefali Sharma, Academic Coordinator and all the faculty members of Dogra College of Education were present on the occasion. The aim of the camp was to spread awareness among the rural masses and to make them to understand the needs and to identify the problems of the community. 91 NSS volunteers participated in the NSS camp and they executed various activities to utilize their knowledge in finding practical solution to individual and community problems. During the first day of the NSS camp, the literacy survey of the Ward No. 2 of Dollian village people was done.A formal vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Anjali Rajput, NSS volunteer of B.Ed Sem-IV.
