IQAC of Dogra Degree College organized One Day Faculty Knowledge Sharing Programme (FKSP) for the staff members of Dogra Group of Colleges. The session started with the welcome address by Ms.Amanpreet Kour .Dr. Mohd. Imran, Assistant Professor, IBS Dehradun was the resource person for the day and he deliberated on the topic “Case Study Methodology: A Guide for Research”. During this interactive session, he told about various types of case studies, sources of data collection and how to conduct it in various disciplines. He further deliberated on various topics like Meaning of Case study, Elements of Case studies, Types of Case studies, Steps for developing own case studies ,advantages and disadvantages of case studies, with the various examples of live case studies and various AI platforms where it can be published. Like Casecentre.org, UK, icmrindia.org, Centre for Management Case Development (BIMTECH). Also emphasis on various software which can be used for qualitative research like SPSS, R, survey monkey website, brand 24 software & money control website. He emphasis on adopting innovating teaching methodology during the live classroom sessions.

Later speaking on the occasion Principal Dogra Degree College appreciated the guest speaker for throwing light on a very relevant topic and enriching the faculty with his valuable thoughts and knowledge.

Prominent among those who attended the webinar were Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary Dogra Educational Trust, Dr. Bela Thakur, Principal Dogra Degree College, Dr. Vikesh Kumar, Principal Dogra College of Education, Dr. Shefali Sharma, Academic Coordinator DCE. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms.Preeti Sharma, Lecturer Dogra Degree College. About 30 faculty members participated in the webinar. E-Certificates were also shared among all the participants.Overall it was highly interactive and informative session.
