Dogra Degree College Organized Investiture Ceremony and Stake holder meet on 9th of May, 2023 marking the formation of a new senate. To scale the heights and reach the pinnacle of success, the college always strives to inculcate a sense of commitment and responsibility among the students with their heads held high as the future leaders. The investiture ceremony was held with such a motto to invest the students with a sense of responsibility and duty. The ceremony started with the welcome speech by Ms. Aditi Khajuria, Faculty in English. The chief guest for the occasion was Chairman Th. Gulchain Singh Charak ji and the guest of honour was, Prof. Darshana Sharma, Director, Dogra Education Trust and Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak ji, Secratary Dogra Education Trust. Dr. Bela Thakur, Principal, Dogra Degree College in her address to the audience presented a power point presentation highlighting the achievements and various events, activities and programmes of the college and encouraged the students about righteousness, responsibility, integrity and leadership. They are a rare combination of valor, humility, and competence.

The students of the college welcomed the parents and guests by presenting a Ganesh Vandana. Ritika Kundal, student of BA 6th semester was selected as a President, Mansakshi Thakur, BBA 4th Semester selected as Vice- President and Daksha Koshal, B.Com 2nd Semester was selected as a Secretary of the student council. Also the student representatives of various committees were selected and felicitated with badges by the dignitaries presented. The event was followed by Oath taking conducted by Mr. Balwant Singh Parihar, Convenor of student Council, where the students pledged to carry out duties assigned to them with sincerity, and efficiency. The College auditorium buzzed with enthusiasm and pride. The president of the student council shared her experiences in the college with the other members of student council. Her words affirmed their mission and pledged to keep the flag of the college flying high.

Thereafter, an open house parents interaction with the college administrators was put forward to share their experiences and grievances regarding academics and curriculum. The administrators addressed the parents and considered their concerns. The guest of honour, Prof. Darshana Sharma, Director DGC & CD and Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak ji, Secretary Dogra Educational Trust said that each student is unique and sky is the limit for them. With a potential to lead and a willingness to be on the right. track, all of them will be the nation builders for the future The chief guest, Th. Gulchain Singh Charak ji, Chairman Dogra Educational Trust urged the students to realize the importance of opportunities that come in their way and acquire skills that will make them worthy citizens who are willing to give back not only to their family but also to the society, nation and the world at large. At last the event winded up by a vote of Thanks by Mr. Balwant singh Parihar followed by National Anthem. The parents were then requested for a high tea and a group photograph.
