Interactive session with Commanding Officer 4 J&K NCC Battalion held at Dogra Group of Colleges

Commanding Officer of 4 J&K NCC Battalion paid a visit to Dogra Group of Colleges (Dogra Degree College & Dogra Law College). The visit was planned for a formal interaction of Col. R M Sharma, CO, 4 J&K NCC Battalion and his team with the newly inducted batch of NCC Cadets of Dogra Law College & Dogra Degree College. Cadets from Rich Harvest School, Bari Brahmana, accompanied by their CTO NCC Mr. Mohit Sharma were also a part of the interactive session.
The event formally began with a sapling presentation to the visiting Commanding Officer followed by a welcome address. During his address Col. R M Sharma enlightened the Cadets about the benefits of joining NCC, as through this they can join the armed forces. He enthusiastically encouraged the students to follow the noble values of discipline and unity in their everyday lives and contribute towards Nation building. He also lauded the noble efforts of the College management for opening NCC wing and providing the students with an opportunity to join NCC. He explained about the different aspects of NCC to the students. A question - answer session was also held and Col R M Sharma very convincingly answered all the queries of the students.
ANO Dogra Law College made a power point presentation wherein he shared all the activities undertaken by the NCC Cadets of Dogra Degree College & Dogra Law College. The efforts of the NCC Unit were lauded by all.
The event saw the presence of Dr. Darshana Sharma, Director, DGC & CD, Prof. V P Mangotra. Principal, Dogra Law College, Mrs. Bela Thakur, Principal, Dogra Degree College & Mr. Sachin Prabhakar, Assistant Registrar, Dogra Educational Trust. The event was hosted by Junior Under Officer Abhishek Sharma, DLC. Mr. Rishabh Bakshi, CTO NCC Dogra Degree College presented the vote of thanks. The event finally winded up with the singing of NCC Song.
