To mark the National Science Day, Dogra Degree College held a Quiz Competition for the students of BBA, BA, B.Com Semester 1st on 28th February 2022. The event was organised by Ms. Simran Devi, Assistant Professor in Environmental Sciences with the guidance and support of Ms. Bela Thakur, Principal Dogra Degree College, Ms. Aradhana Sharma, BBA Department Incharge, Ms. Kanchan Dubey, B.A Department Incharge & Ms. Swati Mahajan, B.Com Department Incharge.

The theme of the quiz was “Science and Technology for Sustainable Future”. The quiz was conducted in two rounds, first being a written test compulsory for all students of Semester 1st. It had 20 MCQS each of 2 marks, and the time given was only 30 minutes. About 80 students participated in the first round. 12 top scorers from three departments in round one formed four groups each having three members competed in oral quiz having 10 questions. The whole planning was done properly to avoid any kind of misconduct to get fair results of the competition.

The winners of round one were Harsh Sharma, Munish Prakash, Anuj Kumar, Jasmeet Kaur, Akul Gupta, Munish Sharma of B.Com 1st, Chiranjeev Singh, Mukesh Sharma, Sarika of B.A 1st, Isha Sharma, Mansakshi & Komal Rajput of BBA 1st.

The winners of second and final round were Harsh Sharma, Munish Prakash, Anuj Kumar of B.Com 1st Semester. Prizes were distributed to all three winners of quiz competition by the Principal, Dogra Degree College.
